Hello once again, readers! Last time we introduced the Steelswarm Archtype, specifically it's monsters and how they work together, but this time we're going to cover the Archtype that these metallic evildoers branched off from, the Evilswarm! We're also going to be covering support spell and traps in this review, and all in all, it should put a cap on main deck cards that need to be looked over. Now, without further adieu, lets begin!
*NOTE: The Evilswarm do NOT have an English release yet. This review has been done through interpretation of the Japanese cards, and will be edited if major changes are made to them that would call for it. Feedback is also recommended!*
Building a STEELSWARM deck (Evilswarm Support):
(Evilswarm Mandrago, DARK, Level 4, Plant/Effect: If your opponent controls more monsters than you, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand)
EVILSWARM MANDRAGO is quite arguably the most useful Evilswarm Monster, and the most helpful to the Steelswarm. The answer to why is simple: Imagine a field like this. You have no monsters on your field, but your opponent has three. You can special summon Steelswarm Scout or Steelswarm Cell and special summon up to two of these Evilswarm Mandragos, leaving you with three monsters to defend yourself with or-even better-to tribute. Really, when this card is deployed, you can have monsters like Steelswarm Longhorn on your starting turn if you play your hand correctly. (This article is a WORK IN PROGRESS, and will be finished whenever possible. We apologize for the delay!)
